The Volcanic Microregion of Poços de Caldas is an authentic Brazilian coffee terroir, where farms are scattered along slopes of one of the most geologically complex volcanic calderas in the world.

With average heights from 1,000m to 1,300m (around 3,300 to 4,250 feets), rich combination of volcanic minerals and rainforest soil and a rare climate condition, this singular microregion meets ideal conditions for growing specialty coffees with unique and exquisite quality profiles.

The subtropical altitude climate gives the terroir an excellent rainfall rate, mild temperatures and the largest thermal amplitude for a single day among all the Brazilian coffee growing regions, a perfect dynamic for the maturation of coffee cherries.

These are natural vocations which join a culture based on quality and sustainability principals.
