The Volcanic Region of Poços de Caldas is an authentic Brazilian coffee terroir, where farms are scattered along slopes of one of the most geologically complex volcanic calderas in the world.
With average heights from 1,000m to 1,300m (around 3,300 to 4,250 feets), rich combination of volcanic minerals and rainforest soil and a rare climate, this singular region meets ideal conditions for growing the finest green coffees with unique and exquisite quality profiles.

The subtropical altitude climate gives the terroir an excellent rainfall rate, mild temperatures and the largest thermal amplitude for a single day among all Brazilian coffee growing regions, a perfect dynamic for coffee cheries maturation.
The steep mountains favored the maintenance of the manual harvesting system, mostly used on coffee farms in the region.
These are natural vocations which join a culture based on quality and sustainable principals.
